Specialist Paediatric Dentist - Dr Rebecca Eggers BDS, MDSc, FRACDS
Rebecca is a registered specialist in Paediatric Dentistry and a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She graduated as a dentist in 2002 and spent the following year working in Townsville gaining valuable experience in rural and remote communities and the Queensland School Dental Service.
Rebecca completed her training as a Paediatric Dentist in 2007 at Westmead Hospital where she continues to work as a part-time Staff Specialist. Her main interest area is a specialist clinic for young adults with chronic medical conditions, many of whom are survivors of childhood cancer. Rebecca is a clinical tutor and lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Rebecca keeps busy in her spare time looking after her two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, small flock of chickens and fledgling Permaculture garden.

Specialist Paediatric Dentist - Dr Jason Michael BDS (Adel), BScDent (Hons), DClinDent (Syd) MRACDS
Jason graduated from the University of Adelaide with Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours) degrees. He was awarded the University Medal for his academic achievements.
Jason has worked previously as a general dentist in a number of regional and rural clinics in Central Queensland. It was his time in the School Dental Clinics that sparked his interest in Paediatric Dentistry. Jason’s specialist training was completed at the University of Sydney with a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) degree.
As well as working with us at Norwest Paediatric Dentistry, Jason works part-time work at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, where he is heavily involved with teaching and clinical mentoring of both undergraduate and postgraduate students as a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University.
Jason likes to keep fit in his spare time running after his young son Harry along with cycling, tennis and squash.

Oral Health Therapist - Sylvia Usien BOH, Grad Dip DT (U.New)
Sylvia completed her Bachelor of Oral Health in 2010 and Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy in 2011 through the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Sylvia enjoys both the Dental Therapy and Hygiene aspects of her clinical practice, however she is passionate about improving oral health through prevention, oral health promotion and education. Sylvia regularly attends local pre-schools and schools to promote positive oral health behaviours from a young age.
Anaesthetist - Dr David Elliott MB,BS, FANZCA
David is an anaesthetist specialising in paediatric, maxillofacial and obstetric anaesthesia. David is a consultant anaesthetist at Westmead Hospital and a visiting specialist at several private hospitals in Sydney.
David is a clinical lecturer at Sydney University and is involved in teaching medical students, anaesthetic registrars and operating theatre nurses. He is currently involved in a number of research projects at Westmead Hospital including pain relief in labour, anaesthetic safety and the use of nitrous oxide in surgery. David works with a team of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons who travel to the Philippines on a yearly basis to perform cleft lip and palate surgery on children.
